The Architectural and Land Preservation Board (ALPB) governs architectural standards and enforcement of protective covenants within Powhatan Secondary. It meets on the first and third Monday of each month at 5:00p in the Clubhouse.
As noted in the association documents, the purpose of the ALPB is to ensure the standards set forth in the Covenants & Restrictions that you expected when choosing this community are maintained. Those standards, amplified with other construction requirements, are reflected in the ALPB Handbook . Management and control of the ALPB is by a committee whose membership is appointed by the PCSA Board of Directors.
The management aspects of architectural review and monitoring of community appearance are handled by the Property Manager. Requests for exterior modifications/additions to your home and property or questions/concerns regarding restrictive covenant violations should be addressed to that individual. It should be noted that the Property Manager representative is responsible to the Chair of the ALPB and actions initiated by him or her will only be taken after review/approval by the ALPB.
