Community Trash Service Program – Rate Effective July 1, 2010

While selection of a trash collection service in all areas of our community {except those sections having a sub-association} is an individual decision, PCSA has entered into an agreement with SUPERIOR DISPOSAL (SDI) to provide collection to those desiring to participate for a six-month cost of $66.00 (billed semi-annually with payments due July 1st and January 1st). All arrangements must be made with CJ Jones at Berkeley Realty Property Management and payments must be made in advance to PCSA.

The PCSA trash pickup program is for weekly trash collection from the street with a supplied trash bin. Except for weeks with a holiday, SDI will pickup trash in the Berkeley and Colonies sections on Tuesday, and the remaining sections on Wednesday. On weeks with a Federal holiday (i.e. Labor Day, Memorial Day, etc.), SDI will pickup one day later than a normal week. In the Berkeley and Colonies sections, the Tuesday route will pick up Wednesday. For all other sections outside of sub-associations, the Wednesday route will pick up Thursday.

As a courtesy to others, please only place trash bins at the curb on the evening before or the morning of your designated pickup day and remove it from the curb the evening after pickup.

As a reminder, the covenants state that all trash receptacles shall be concealed in a manner approved by the ALPB. This is generally interpreted as not being visible from the street.

To sign up for the program or if you have questions, please contact the Property Manager.
